Little reminders. Just tap a card.
04 / WORDS FROM MY HEART
For my favourite yapper,
from your very willing audience.
On June 18, our little story began. Now it’s September 18, and I get to say something that still makes me smile: three months of us. Three months of having you to love.
You are my favourite yapper, and I mean that with my whole heart. I want the long story. The tiny details. The part you remembered halfway through another part. The “one more thing” that turns into five more things. I like hearing what goes on in that lovely head of yours.
But I hope you know this too: you never have to fill the silence to keep my attention. On the days you’re tired, quiet, or don’t quite have the words, you are still my Teddy. Still wanted. Still so very loved.
Ìfẹ́ mi. My love. Ayé mi. My world. Ọkàn mi. My heart. I keep finding sweet names for you because just one never quite feels like enough.
I love the thought of more ordinary days with you. Checking in. Laughing at something ridiculous. Listening properly. Learning the little things that make you feel cared for, and remembering them. That’s the kind of love I want to keep giving you.
Ajokemi, thank you for being part of my life. You make my heart soft in a way I’m very happy about. I hope being loved by me feels gentle, safe, and full of room to be exactly who you are.
Mo nífẹ̀ẹ́ rẹ. I love you.
Happy three months, my sweetest Teddy.
05 / A LITTLE EXTRA, BECAUSE IT’S YOU
A pocketful of sweet things. Pick one, Teddy.
Teddy, tell me the long version. The side story, the extra details, the “wait, I forgot something.” I want all of it.
01 / 08THIS IS ONLY THE BEGINNING
Mo nífẹ̀ẹ́ rẹ, Ajokemi. I love you. Today, and into our next chapter.
p.s. keep yapping, Teddy. I’m listening.
